Je vais recevoir chez moi en Tunisie, pendant mes prochaines vacances, un ami Canadien.
En lisant un post de Massir j'ai pensé à demander aux lecteurs, donc à vous, de me proposer des idées de sorties sympa pour faire découvrir la Tunisie à mon invité.

tu pe l'emmener visiter les villes du sud (matmata...) en tout cas je te déconseille de l'emmener a desvilles touristiques comme hammamet et sousse

Je suis d'accord avec toi... Il est content de venir chez un tunisien parce qu'il compte découvrir ce qu'on peut pas voir ou vivre quand on est en tourisme organisé.
L'idée de Matmata, je la retiens, et tu me fais penser à Chenenni... tout celà peut se faire sur le chemin vers Djerba par exemple.
Si c'est pour le semaines à venir, le temps sera plus clément et une tounrnée dans le Sud (Matmata, Ksar Ghilane+++++, Tozeur, Chebika, Tamaghza+++ et Midas). Je ne sais pas si tu connais ses endroits, quasiment paradisiaques.
Autre chose, une tournée dans le train beylical, Le Lézard Rouge ( à partir de Metlaoui) est aussi recommandable.
Pour un ami canadien, ça doit faire un voyege dans une autre planète.

C'est pour bientôt et c'est pour cela que je pense visiter le sud. Ksar Ghilane et Midas, je ne connais pas. Ou sont ils? Qu'est ce qu'il y a à voir? je vais essayer de trouver sur le net.
Le train beylical? Je ne connais pas non plus. Je ne suis pas fier de mon ignorance de ces endroits.

tu n'a pas précisé la durée , ni le moyen de locomtion , ni le budget .. mais voici quand même une idée circuit d'une semaine environ , ou il faut se lever tôt , faire beaucoup de routes , mais qui vaut la peine :
1- tunis - kairouan - sbeitla ( sites archéologiques) dans la journée puis direction gafsa pour passer la nuit
2- visite de gafsa -tozeur et nafta (oasis + dar chraiet )
3- visite de tameghza + chbika + midas (oasis - lacs et chutes d'eau )
4 - départ pour gbelli (oasis et sahara )
5- départ pour matamata (les maisons troglodytes) –tamazret -El ksour -puis direction jerba pour y passer la nuit
6- visite de djerba , - zarzis -el bibane (lac d'élevage de poisson )
7 -départ vers gabés - sfax - el jem (le colisée ) puis Tunis

Bon par éxperience récente il ya kerkenah, un petit paradis trés simple avec des gens trés modestes et spontanés... tu peux aller de bout en bout de l'île et je te recommande un délicieux déjeuner ou diner chez najet un resto trés simple prés du port ou tu as l'impression de manger chez toi...Surtout sana façon; des plats fruits de mer waaaaw un régal..c'est fil 3taya...
Sinon je propose aussi ksar ghilan, je connais pas mais j'ai vu des photos sur internet et j'ai lu a propos de la bouffe traditionnel qu'ils offrent; personnellement je suis tentée...ça sera pour l'hiver nchalah

Tu me fais penser à Bhiret El Bibane. C'est une excellente idée que j'ai oublié. J'ai déjà visité cet endroit près de zarzis et il est formidable.

J'ai lu le post de Byrsa sur "Chez Najet" à Kerkenah et ça m'a vraiment donné envie.
Mais aller Kerkenah avec mon ami dépendra vraiment du temps qu'il fera.
On verra bien.

Ksar ghilane est en plein désert du coté de Matmata avec une infrastructure d'hégergemrnt plus que valable.

Midas se trouve du coté de tamaghza vers le nord ouest de Tozeur à quelques 45 km. Il s'agit d'un oasis en motagne, unique comme paysage.
Pas d'infrastrucure d'hébérgement à Midas mais Tozeur comme je l'ai dit n'est pas loin.
Quand au Lézard Rouge, il s'agit d'un train Beylical qui a été repris et retapé par un voyagiste (Hermes si ma mémoire ne me trahit pas). Il fait un va et vient entre Metlaoui et Selja, une mine de Phosphate en plein montagne, inaccessible par n'importe quel autre moyen. Il traverse un paysage magnfique digne des plus grans film Western.
Sur Tunis-ville, je te conseille de faire un passage sur le musée du Bardo, il est incontournable.

On va utiliser la visite du musée de Bardo comme "bouche trous" parce que c'est pas loin de la capitale et c'est pas cher et ça peut se faire rapidement et même sur plusieurs fois.

Je connais bien K'Sar Ghilène, je l'ai visité plusieurs fois dans le cadre de mon travail. C'est un oasis qui comprend trois camping modeste et un Hôtel "Pan Sea" magnifique. il s'agit d'un hotel dont les chambres sont des tentes bien aménagées, climatisée avec une salle d'eau. une tente comprend un lit deux places et un autre d'une place. l'hôtel comprend une piscine (un vrai regal dans le desert) où il fait bien de plonger dès l'arrivée. a coté de l'hotel, il y a une source d'eau chaude avec un bassin naturelle où on peut plonger. la bouffe à l'hotel est correcte sans plus (ce n'est pas le plus important dans ce genre d'endroit). on peut visiter le K'sar qui est à une demi heure (à dos de chameau) de l'hotel, le couché de soleil sur les dunes est magnifique !!
l'idéal est d'arriver 3h avant le couché du soleil, le temps de se changer et plonger dans la piscine puis partir au K'sar pour admirer le couché du soleil ou bien monter au mirador de l'hotel, la vue est imprenable !! N.B : il faut aller en 4x4 car il y a 70 km de route goudronnée en plein désert mais que le sable peut couvrir par endroit.
Si non, visiter Mahdia et boir un café "3arbi" au Café "Gamra" ou au café "el ghar" et si il fait beau, plonger dans la plus belle plage du pays -sans exagération- et manger - impérativement - chez "7ouas", le poisson ne peut être mieux préparé ailleure.

Tout le bled est bien et les Tunisiens sont merveilleux. Mais dans le sud , il ne faut pas oublier de passer au musée de la mémoire de la terre à Tataouine, et le musée "mémoire de la mer Zarzis". Commme ça ton ami saura le vrai niveau intellectuel et le dégré de civilisation des Tunisiens.
